This V8 convertible was built in 1935. The series was built from 3/1935 to
8/1936. Only 5208 vehicles with the chassis type 48 were built. This particular
chassis was combined with the following bodies: 4-door limousine, 2-door
limousine, 2-seat convertible, 4-seat convertible with two or four doors, and
2+2-seat convertible. The chassis numbers were 2,000,001 to 2,642,025. The
convertible for sale below is a very rare model with 4 seats and 2 doors.
Indeed, there are only two others available, world-wide. One is the vehicle
shown in the pictures above and belongs to a private owner in Bavaria Germany.
The other one is in a Classic Car Museum in Germany. Glaeser, Inc in Dresden,
Drauz, Inc in Heibronn and Deutsch Inc. in Cologne built this special edition
for Ford.
